«On a physical level, it is easy to connect a healing process with the genetic code. The DNA contains the memory of every possible repair/healing process, which only requires time and energy to manifest. When more energy is available, the time needed for the process is shortened.
Moreover, healing is truly healing only when it is accompanied by a certain level of awareness. Reiki, which primarily works on the causes of any discomfort, stimulates awareness of the ongoing transformation process. It seems to be an inseparable bond. The more aware one is, the faster one transforms (heals), and the more one transforms (by showing willingness to change and flexibility), the more conscious the metamorphosis becomes.
Thus, Reiki presents itself as something far higher than a mere mechanical healing principle. Reiki is a spiritual path, as it fosters contact with oneself (a kind of reconnection with one's soul, consisting of presence and listening—feeling). Reiki invites a more conscious connection with one's authentic self.
Reiki is therefore an effective path to awakening the spirit, making contact with one’s soul essence, and journeying into one’s inner truth. It is a path of freedom—a free path, untouched by religions, politics, or various ideologies. The soul is free, and the freer one is inwardly, the easier it is to connect with it.».
