How to begin the Reiki Path
(PART 2)
How to Begin in the Most Appropriate and Correct Way with the Mikao Usui Method

THE REIKI MASTER AND HIS ENERGETIC PRESENCE
The Reiki teacher, besides knowing their subject well, being sober and honest, should also "be energetically present" because, during attunements, they work through resonance, connecting with very high energies... those of Reiki. But if the teacher were a chronically depressed person or energetically "half-hearted" (which might allow them to excel in many professions but not as a Reiki Master!!!), with what energy would they resonate? It would correspond to their own vibration. And would that "Reiki" really be the same as that transmitted by someone who is present? The answer is: no!
WHY CHOOSE DARIO CANIL BETWEEN VENEZIA, PADOVA, TREVISO, AND VICENZA?
Because he offers sobriety, honesty, competence, and because he has loved his craft and has been practicing it full-time since 1997. Daily contact with energy is important: who would trust a dentist for surgery who studied orthodontics in college and hasn't practiced it since?
The intent of the Tolteca Holistic Center (Free Reiki® School) led by Dario Canil is to teach the Reiki Method as faithfully as possible to Usui's original. While Mikao Usui appreciated the acceleration of self-healing, he considered it a secondary effect compared to the more important spiritual work that Reiki accomplishes within the individual.
At the Tolteca Holistic Center, the focus is on Usui's core concepts: fluidity, freedom, listening, sensing, awareness, and presence; aspects that precede any form of technique. The prospective Reiki student is invited to feel if they resonate with this type of approach. If so, teacher Dario Canil is the right choice; otherwise, there are various alternative approaches in Italy and around the world, some of which are certainly interesting and valid.
