The Relationship Between Reiki Symbols and Their Pronunciation
The Relationship Between Drawing and Sound in the Use of the Second Degree Reiki Symbols
«It is necessary to acknowledge that despite extensive research spanning over a century, the mystery of "subtle energy" remains unresolved to this day. There is still much to explore and understand. Nevertheless, more and more people are managing to become sensitive to this energy, to the point where they can perceive it in tactile, thermal, and even visual ways. This phenomenon occurs to varying degrees in all those who have been attuned to Reiki.»

THE RELATIONSHIP BETEEN REIKI SYMBOLS AND THEIR PRONUNCIATION
«When using positions from the First Reiki Degree, the cosmic symbols flow naturally through your hands to the recipient.
Before, during, or after the mental drawing or visualization of each symbol, you also speak the corresponding name like a mantra, either mentally or aloud.
Every time you perform a "contact procedure" that involves the initial use of HON SHA ZE SHO NEN, maintain a 1/3 ratio between drawing each symbol and pronouncing its name. For example, you draw HON SHA ZE SHO NEN and say "Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen," then draw SEI HEKI and say "Sei Heki, Sei Heki, Sei Heki," and finally draw CHOKU REI and say "Choku Rei, Choku Rei, Choku Rei."
After completing the contact procedure and continuing with the treatment, you can draw each symbol and pronounce its name freely. For instance, you might draw CHOKU REI and mentally say its name 20 times, draw SEI HEKI and say its name 6 times, and then draw CHOKU REI again and say its name 3 times...»

"Mantra" is a Sanskrit term that literally means "vehicle or instrument of thought," essentially a "sacred expression." It derives from the Sanskrit verb "man," meaning "to think," combined with the suffix "tra," which corresponds to the Sanskrit adjective "krt" ("that which does" or "that which acts"). The mantra fundamentally serves as a "creative invocation."
