Sporadic or Emergency Reiki Treatment with the First Degree
Practical Reiki: The Quick or Emergency Reiki Treatment
«I feel that to be free, I need to have control over my responses, because they shape me, teach me, and help me grow toward the truth of who I am. How can I think that luck will fall from the sky without lifting a finger? It seems so obvious on the physical level. Can I hope to develop my muscles by lazily standing still? I don’t think so. In reality, I develop physical strength in proportion to how much I train. Therefore, I can expect similar results from love. Only by cultivating love can I reasonably expect to reap its rewards.»

REIKI EMERGENCY TREATMENT
«The first thing to keep in mind is the context. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, any place becomes suitable for treatment, and you use whatever time you have, whether it's a little or a lot.
If possible, it is preferable to choose an environment with minimal disturbance and distraction, so that you can be fully present in the situation. Emergency or sporadic cases can vary. Sometimes, those around you may suffer from annoying ailments or may have accidents.
It's useful to mention a few examples:
Severe and bothersome headache
Cut wound
Sprained joint
Contusion
Fainting
Toothache
Back pain
Bone fracture
When treating with Reiki, it's important to remain very clear-headed, present, and to assess the situation with common sense. You can treat the painful areas, but it’s always wise to be guided by your intuition and allow your hands to go where they "intuitively know" it is best to go.
Here are a few additional tips:
1) Avoid crossing your legs: This allows for a better flow of energy through the body. The person being treated should also avoid crossing their legs.
2) Wounds: Reiki is extremely effective in accelerating the healing process of wounds. In case of an accident, I encourage you to disinfect the bleeding area before applying Reiki; otherwise, impurities may get trapped due to the rapid healing and cause infections. You can treat wounds by placing your hands on the edges of the wound or over the bandage, or by holding your hands directly above the bleeding area, without touching it, a few centimeters away.
3) Fractures: Reiki significantly speeds up the healing process of bone fractures; therefore, avoid treating a fracture directly until it has been properly set. Once it has been set, you can effectively treat it even through the cast. A fracture heals quickly when treated for at least 15 minutes, 3-4 times a day.
4) In the event of a traumatic incident, you can assist the injured person while waiting for the ambulance (after providing any necessary first aid measures) by giving them Reiki to calm them and boost their vital defenses.»
