Iava is the seventh symbol of the Advanced Karuna® Reiki Method and was channeled by Catherine Mills.

Iava helps you assert your power in a healthy, non-egoic way. When others try to control how you live, it becomes more difficult to reach your goals or ways of being: your projects and goals are wrapped in others’ negative intentions like a heavy dark fog. Serious obstacles are created, hindering your self-realization. This may be happening now, or there may be residual thoughts and feelings of control from the past in your unconscious. Often this happens because you have handed over part of your power to those around you out of guilt or fear. Iava helps you break free from others’ expectations and projections, allowing you to reclaim your power so you can create the life you want. You are responsible for your present, your choices, and your personal story. You are responsible for your happiness, your feelings, and your emotions.

Iava helps you follow your path, nurture authentic relationships, and pursue your goals even if others do not appreciate your decisions. It helps you connect with the joyful achievement of your goals, which gives you the power to reach them.

Iava assists in healing dependency on people and situations. Sometimes, you may have unconsciously formed unhealthy agreements with those around you, preventing both parties from healing and improving. Iava helps heal this dependency, allowing you to free yourself from any sense of responsibility you may feel for those around you.

Iava helps clarify reality and increases awareness. Iava helps people respect each other's independent realities. It aids in understanding and learning what your reality should be based on and who you truly are, rather than trying to meet others' expectations.
