«You can treat plants that need revitalization or have become sick by placing your hands on their trunk or on the soil where their roots are located.
Gently stroking the energetic bodies of houseplants (5-10 cm around them) helps keep them clean; you can also twist any congested energy (a sort of "energetic mucus" around the plant) around the tips of your fingers and then release it under a stream of running water.
It is important to speak lovingly to them and maintain a harmonious atmosphere; placing them near crystals or stones also significantly contributes to their health.
When treating a tree, you may find that as you give it energy, it also transmits energy to you. Hugging a tree thus becomes both a profound meditative opportunity and an effective way to release tension into the earth through its deep roots.
Another beautiful meditative practice of connection and sharing with a tree can be done by sitting on the ground with your back against the trunk, palms facing downward touching the soil, in peace, listening, and contemplating the silence.»
