OM

Om is the twelfth symbol of the Advanced Karuna® Reiki Method.

Om symbolizes unity. It is a Sanskrit symbol used in many Eastern spiritual practices and represents the unity you have with the All, connecting you to it.

Om is a highly powerful symbol, existing beyond space and time, considered the source of all creation and manifestation. In ancient Indian Yoga tradition, it is recognized as the sacred primordial sound: OM, sometimes pronounced as AUM. It is called the "sound of silence."

Om creates a connection between the human and the divine, drawing the Higher Self into the everyday self.

When you visualize your physical body within a large Om symbol, you create the ideal conditions to purify, protect, and balance your aura.

When you solemnly chant the sacred primordial sound OM, it not only instills calm within you but also opens you to new perceptual possibilities. Om enhances and activates your psychic sensitivity, particularly your third eye.

Om purifies, protects, seals, and stabilizes the aura. It harmonizes the crown chakra, and when traced above the head, it opens a pathway to Spirit and higher Consciousness.
