KRIYA

Kriya is the sixth symbol of the Advanced Karuna® Reiki Method and was channeled by Kathleen Millner.

Kriya symbolizes the indissoluble union between spirit and matter, between masculine and feminine. Its purpose is to help you recognize both parts within yourself, harmonize them, and live them effectively. It aids in balancing family ties.

Kriya reveals the truth of your desires and dreams, helping to separate them from illusions and harmful attachments.

Kriya promotes grounding. If you want to use Kriya for grounding, visualize each part of the symbol along each leg, placing the upper part on the hips and the spirals on the feet. This creates a strong connection to the earth, allowing your consciousness to be more fully present in your body, and helps you move forward on your path in a practical way. You can visualize Kriya in the same way on a client during a Reiki treatment.

Kriya helps achieve goals. Kriya can be used to assist in reaching your goals. One way to use it for this purpose is to write your goal on a piece of paper as an affirmation. For example, if you want to promote calmness and focus in your work, write: “I am calm, peaceful, and focused in both work and rest.” Then trace Kriya over the paper, hold it between your hands, and send Kriya to it for a few minutes each day. At the same time, take practical steps toward achieving your goal by making a plan and acting on it. If the goal is for your highest good, you’ll find important “coincidences” that help you realize it. Kriya will reach the people and resources necessary for you to achieve your goal, making its manifestation a joy.

Kriya helps create priorities. Kriya is useful when you feel caught in a tangle of thoughts and find it difficult to focus on what needs to be done. It helps you choose your priorities, focus on the important things to manifest in your life now, and concentrate your energy on them.

Kriya is a doorway to go where it’s most appropriate to go. Kriya is a true “dimensional doorway” through which your awareness can travel to otherwise inaccessible dimensions, drawing upon intuition, knowledge, strength, and protection.
